A DisplayPort output with “Clone Mode” capabilities is built into our PoE Panoramic LCDs. This enables users to display identical content on multiple Panoramic LCDs. The signal is re-clocked at each display, so infinite daisy-chaining is supported*
*3m DP run distance limitation strongly recommended between displays
Applications
Room Status Signage
Meeting room status displays often come in the form of small touch panels which are difficult to read from afar. PoE Panoramic LCDs make it easier to take advantage of the empty space atop or alongside doors to clearly state a room’s occupied/unoccupied status to passersby. Their additional panel real estate allows for more useful information such as the current date/time, future availability, and whether VTC is in use.
.
Directional Signage
Large buildings and corporate campuses can be confusing and disorienting, especially to first-time visitors. PoE Panoramic LCDs make the navigation of these spaces simpler, bringing bright, legible, and dynamic wayfinding instructions to a wide variety of wall surfaces. Due to the flexible nature of some conference rooms, ballrooms, and common areas, digital signage presents a clear advantage over its static counterparts. Emergency messaging can also be pushed out, making these spaces safer for all.
Secure Locations
High-security/classified environments in particular benefit from clearly legible, high-definition PoE Panoramic LCDs. Compared with red “dot-matrix” signs of similar size, Panoramic LCDs provide more resolution and can clearly convey a rooms classification status as well as additional information about occupancy, schedule, microphone/camera use, time, and more. Larger sizes are ideal for use as world clocks, replacing old analog clocks and large pixel pitch LEDs.
.
Retail Spaces
Rent is a major form of overhead for retail spaces, so every inch of wall and floor space must be carefully considered when planning signage. Over time, digital signage provides exponentially more messaging per square inch compared with static signs. PoE Panoramic LCDs enable retail users to exploit endcaps, tight spots on walls, and free-standing display structures in ways that would never be possible with traditional AC-powered 16:9 displays.
